A festive message from HQ to all our members...
On behalf of the RFS Head Office team, I would like to thank all members for your continued support.
This year saw another busy programme of woodland meetings run by RFS Divisions and a full programme of training events to support skills development.
Over the summer we attended the Royal Welsh, Confor, and Agroforestry shows and we celebrated forestry and education best practice at our Excellence in Forestry Awards in Durham.
We have been able to grow the staff team to enable us to do even more in 2024. We now have a dedicated Forestry Careers Advisor to support our growing Forestry Roots programme, our second annual careers roadshow, and support early career foresters. We have also gained a Green Tree Badge Coordinator to propel this campaign forwards, aiming to reach 1m children!
