Lowley Woods and Whitemoor Farm Woods – South Western Division
This is a two venue visit. In the morning we will look at evolving CCF of various hardwoods and conifers. In the afternoon, we'll discuss squirrel damage, deer fencing and eucalyptus planting to replace ash.
In the morning, we will visit Lowley Woods, Doddiscombsleigh, kindly hosted by Tree Aid. In the afternoon, we’ll go to Whitemoor Farm Woods to look at district heating system (DHS) and deer fencing erected to manage the woods as coppice for the DHS.
