West Brompton Cemetery – London & Middlesex Division
Opened in 1840, this is one of the original 'Magnificent Seven' cemeteries which circled inner London, designed to relieve the chronic shortage of burial spaces in churchyards. It is Grade 1 Listed on the English Heritage Register of Parks and Gardens. There are over 60 species of trees and over 200 species of moths and butterflies have been recorded here. There are 35,000 monuments and famous names amongst the 200,000 burials include Emmeline Pankhurst, John Wisden (of the Cricketing Almanac), Samuel Cunard (cruise ships) and more recently, the actor, Brian Glover.

Tittensor Estate – North West Midlands Division
Tittensor Estate in Staffordshire is privately owned with adjoining FC woodland. The Estate includes a fort, burial ground, parkland and newly planted areas with deer and squirrel damage In the morning, we’ll look at future plans for FC area including Savon’s Lowe burial ground hill. In the afternoon, we’ll discuss Parkland trees, newly planted areas with deer and squirrel damage, footpath problems and bat area.

Scarr Head Wood and Broomriggs – North Western Division
In the morning, we'll visit Scarr Head Wood - a PAWS restoration, site access issues and wind damage, larch felling, restocking and natural regeneration. In the afternoon, we'll move on to Broomriggs to see Oak silviculture, Rhododendron clearance, deer management, diversity of historic planting and veteran trees, pitsteads and potash kiln.
