Buckram Wood – Gloucestershire Division
The main theme of the day is woodland management for small woodland parcels and new woodland creation schemes.
In the morning, our hosts will be joint owners Dr. Denise Taylor and Shea McCord and, in afternoon, we will be in the capable hands of Robbie Barnes (FC Woodland Officer). The focus of the morning meeting will be to address opportunities and constraints associated with managing small woodlands. We’ll have a picnic lunch in the wood and it may be helpful to bring your own picnic chairs.
After lunch Robbie will host discussions relating to new woodland creation schemes detailing species choice and associated financial grants available.

Pre-visit information
While Covid restrictions have been lifted, we would politely ask delegates showing Covid symptoms, or who have tested positive for Covid, to not attend. Guests are very welcome to wear masks indoor and even outdoors if they would feel more comfortable doing so. Consideration of others by practicing good hand hygiene will be hugely appreciated.
