Duke of Cornwall Award for Resilient Multipurpose Woodland: Best of the Best Award 2022

Awarded for woodlands managed for ecological and economic resilience. These include threats such as pests, diseases and climate change. Following five years of regional Excellence in Forestry Award the regions’ winners went head-to-head this year for the title Best of the Best.

Duke of Cornwall Award for Resilient Multipurpose Forestry 2021

Coed Caeaugwynedd, Llanfyllin, Powys, has won the award. Second place has gone to the Llanover Estate, Monmouthshire. Certificates of Merit were awarded to Powis Castle Estate, Welshpool, and Shane’s Castle Estate, Co. Antrim.

Judges praise the long term vision at Bramshill Plantation in awarding it the 2019 Duke of Cornwall Award

The 2019 Duke of Cornwall's Award for multipurpose resilient forestry goes to Bramshill Plantation in Hampshire, managed by Forestry England and praised for its long term vision. Silver goes to Bagley Wood in Oxfordshire, owned by St John's College since 1557 and where planting is often the focus of forest research.
