Three additional Forestry Roots opportunities open for applications

We’re thrilled to add three additional traineeships to our 2025/26 Forestry Roots programme, adding to the four opportunities announced earlier this month.

City of Trees

City of Trees in Manchester is looking for motivated individuals with a passion for working outside to join our contract team, undertaking a variety of practical projects across the region. These projects will include woodland creation, standard tree planting, woodland management, greenspace improvement and other associated conservation works. Apply now.

Maydencroft in North Hertfordshire is looking for a Trainee Forester to deliver a range of practical woodland management and silvicultural operations, working with high profile clients within the commercial, public, private, utility and charity sectors. Apply now.

Bodnant Estate

Bodnant Estate in Conwy Valley, North Wales is looking for a practical and motivated Assistant Forester to support the day-to-day management of the Estate’s woodlands, including plantation maintenance, infrastructure upkeep, firewood processing and support for contractors. Apply now.
