Seasons Greetings…

... and best wishes from everyone at the Royal Forestry Society for 2022. This year there is an especially heartfelt ‘thank you’ to members, volunteers and supporters.

You have been with us every step of the way as we have all adapted to a second year of providing events and training in Covid-secure environments. Your support is invaluable.

There were some great highlights during 2021:  presentations of our Excellence in Forestry Awards (delayed by a year because of Covid); some incredible and informative Covid-secure Divisional meetings; the appointment of seven young foresters under our ALA Green-funded Forestry Roots scheme and a new Patsy Wood Scholar; the launch of the Queen’s Green Canopy Junior Forester Award, to name but a few.

Our 2022 events begin on line on January 13 with Improving your Woodland for Wildlife  (11am-12.30 pm ) and a free-to-members Book Club with Dr Gabriel Hemery talking about his stunning and award-winning book, The New Sylva on January 25th ( 6-7pm). Book now!

Stay safe!
