Four new Forestry Roots jobs
Four new jobs have been created thanks to the Royal Forestry Society (RFS) and the ALA Green Charitable Trust.

It’s open to people with qualifications in forestry, arboriculture or countryside management and who aren’t currently employed in the sector. Training salaries start at £17,000 as well as a training and relocation allowance.

RFS Learning and Outreach Manager Becky Wilkinson says: “We are thrilled to be able to offer these opportunities thanks to the ALA Green Charitable Trust.
“Forestry and woodland management are in the spotlight as never before. Tree planting and woodland management are essential in meeting carbon zero targets. We need more people with the right skills and knowledge to make sure our future treescapes survive and thrive.
“The RFS is committed to developing skills and knowledge for those new to the sector and upskilling those already in land management.”
