RFS - Yorkshire Bursary
The aim of the bursary is to enable a student to take the opportunity to study or research either an independent or collaborative forestry project.
Yorkshire Bursary 2021
An award of £600 made jointly by the RFS Yorkshire Division and the Yorkshire Agricultural Society to a student born or living in Yorkshire or undertaking study or research of a forestry issue which affects Yorkshire.
Criteria
- Awarded annually and at the discretion of the committee.
- Students must be 18 years or older but there are no upper age restrictions.
- To be awarded to someone born or living in Yorkshire or making a study of a forestry issue which affects Yorkshire
- To comprise £600.00; £300.00 from the RFS Yorkshire Division, £300.00 from the Yorkshire Agricultural Society
- The bursary can be used to fund all or part of travel and subsistence, both in the UK and abroad.
- A successful applicant must write a feature article or technical paper for submission to the Quarterly Journal of Forestry
