Forwoods is an independent forestry and woodland consultancy providing expert advice and practical solutions for woodland owners, land managers and stakeholders.
We are passionate about sustainable forestry, biodiversity and creating resilient woodlands for future generations.
This role is a fixed term appointment for an initial period of 18 months with the potential to extend.
What we are looking for
- Degree in Forestry or a related discipline (or working towards)
- A genuine passion for forestry, woodlands and the environment
- Practical experience in woodland management or related work
- Good knowledge of woodland management principles and best practice
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft apps, Co-Pilot, and AI search engines
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve outstanding results
- Full UK driving license
