Job Description
James Gillies Land Management helps landowners and farmers to balance profitable land use with wildlife needs, encompassing woodland, wetland, wildflowers and wildlife.
We are growing our team and are looking for a self employed Associate to help us with woodland management planning, oversight of contract work, application for felling licences and grant applications & claims. This is a permanent position, initially about 10 hours a week but which we see expanding.
Experience in woodland and forestry management is essential as well as a working knowledge of FC and RPA grant schemes applications. We use LandApp and MyForest platforms, so a working knowledge of these is desirable.
The position would be ideal for someone starting their forestry management career or an independent advisor looking to expand. We can be flexible for the right person.
We are Oxfordshire based working throughout Southern England. A full driving licence and own transport is essential.
To apply please email James Gillies with your CV and covering letter.
