Job Description
We require three motivated, hardworking individuals to join an established team to help manage and maintain 1800 acres of woodland.
The intensively managed woods include over 450 acres of new plantations and host a range of forward-thinking management techniques and scientific research projects, as well as supplying timber to our own sawmill and firewood business, Shelmore Timber.
The role will include chainsaw and forestry machinery work, planting, spraying, general forestry maintenance work and firewood processing.

Person Specification
Applicants should be able to show some experience and understanding of forestry operations, the use of agricultural/forestry machinery and good awareness of health and safety matters.
NPTC CS30 and CS31 chainsaw certificates are desirable but not essential.
A full driving license is essential.
