Are you a young person looking to kickstart a career in forestry?

Forest of Marston Vale are offering two paid, 1-year trainee roles designed to give you hands-on experience across all aspects of lowland forestry. From tree planting to habitat management, and from practical outdoor work to planning and governance, this is your chance to gain industry-recognised qualifications while working as part of our experienced Forest Team.

You’ll also complete short placements with a range of partner organisations, and have access to a training budget to help you build essential skills – everything from chainsaw use to woodland planning.
