We'll examine the city’s evolving approach to urban forestry including management of complex urban tree canopy.
Centered around Bute Park and Pontcanna, the programme will highlight the Coed Caerdydd initiative and explore the operational considerations involved in managing a complex urban tree canopy.
Programme focus:
• Coed Caerdydd: Strategic delivery of sustainable urban planting
• Urban Forest Management: Operational practice and planning from Cardiff’s arboricultural team
• Tree Health and Resilience: Bute Park’s contribution to the Welsh Plant Health Surveillance Network
