Barriers to Woodland Management Workshop
Help us understand the issues facing good woodland management in Kent and together find ways to overcome them.
The Royal Forestry Society would like to see more Kent woodlands come back into management and promote biodiversity in the region.
We need your help, as woodland owners and managers, to understand the barriers you face whatever they may be. These could include lack of funding, unreliable foresters and changing weather patterns. Our goal is to better understand these barriers and, with your help, find creative, viable ways to encourage landowners to bring their woods into management.
We also hope this informal event will bring together woodland owners and professionals who may be able to offer guidance on various issues.
This is a FREE workshop run by Philip Mearns, RFS Project Officer.
