Forest and woodland manager

Tasks include:
– Production, updating and development of the forest/woodland management plans
– Understanding of forest management aims and objectives
– Using GPS and mapping programmes
– Writing funding applications
– Management of health and safety
– Contractor organisation

What qualifications do I need?
A degree in forestry, countryside management, land management or a similar subject.

£25,000 – £40,000 (benefits including accommodation and transport sometimes offered)
