What the lecturer said: Rob is an excellent student who is keen to learn and achieve, both practically and academically. He is a very good climber and always works very hard on practical’s, setting himself challenges and helping others. He also has worked hard to build up his own work experience and client base, so that when he leaves this course he is confidently starting his career. Rob is also a very polite and considerate chap with a professional attitude to his work.

What the lecturer said: Riley is a dedicated student who works very hard to achieve high grades and he also is an exemplary climber and practical student who is dedicated to achieving excellence. Riley also goes out of his way to help others with their work and is good intentioned and polite. He has therefore been offered a place on the L3 Forestry & Arboriculture course in September 2015.

What the college said: The Forestry & Arboriculture Dept. regard the Silky Fox Award to be of great value to both students and the college. It demonstrates specialist industry recognition for student achievement and helps students build confidence and aspire to high standards, personally and professionally. I consider this Award to be of very high value!
