What the lecturer said: Kai has excelled at all aspects of the course. He has achieved high grades in all of his modules, and has performed exceptionally well during all the practical sessions. He has a keen interest in horticulture, and his specialist project concentrated on growing and utilization of willow short rotation coppice.

In addition to his Level 3 Qualification, Kai has also achieved Licences to Practice in Chainsaw Operations, Pesticides Application, Strimmer/Brushcutter, WoodChipper and a First Aid Certificate.

I am confident that Kai will be an excellent addition to any workforce – and he will make good use of the excellent prize.

What Kai said: This is an excellent prize – and I will put it to good use in my career as a countryside worker.
