Jemma Cuthbert

Jemma is our School and Community Outreach officer. She administrates the Teaching Trees programme, the Junior Forester Award and other school and community initiatives.

When not working for HQ, Jemma is also one of our Teaching Trees Education Officers. She was a primary school teacher for many years until she felt the pull back to her roots in environmental education. She has a BSc (Hons) in Ecology and enjoys continuing to learn about anything to do with natural history and woodland history. She is a firm believer in using sustainable forestry to get sustainable materials. Jemma loves being in woodlands: in her spare time she helps friends with their productive hazel coppice and coppices small leaved lime for a local nature reserve.
