Dr Freia Bladon

Freia rejoined the RFS Quarterly Journal of Forestry team in 2023 as Co-Editor (Production), having served as Co-Editor (Commissioning) for the Journal between 2015 and 2022. Freia has more than 17 years of experience in the forestry sector, having worked in research (Freia holds a PhD in Forest Health), education, consulting, and editing. Freia is passionate about sharing knowledge on the sustainable management of forests and woodlands, and inspiring the next generation of foresters. When not at her desk, Freia can usually be found somewhere in the woods with her three young sons.
