The Job

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Forest Foreman to lead the day-to-day management of a substantial woodland operation on a prestigious private estate in Southwest England.

Reporting to the Estate Land Agent, you’ll lead a small team, oversee woodland operations including felling, thinning, planting and regeneration, operate and maintain forestry machinery, manage work programmes and budgets, and ensure high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance

Person Specification

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven forestry or woodland management experience
• Strong practical forestry and machinery operation skills
• Team leadership experience
• Good organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach and full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Private estate experience
• NEBOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification
