Acer Autumn is our stunning Autumn Colours competition winner. Congratulations to Ed Alderam from East Sussex who captured this magical layering of colours on a visit to Westonbirt Arboretum. The picture includes an Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum) and Ironwood (Parrotia persica).
Ed is a gardener/horticulturist and the current Christopher Lloyd Scholar at Great Dixter House. He had completed a work experience placement at Westonbirt Arboretum while studying at college, so knew it would be the ideal location to take a picture!
