Teaching Trees Training - Getting started in the forest

 

An ideal practical course for those new to Outdoor Learning who want to start taking their classes out to a forest environment. The course covers:

  • Risk assessment
  • Choosing a location
  • Woodland ecosystems including Tree ID and Minibeasts
  • Games and activities to take away and try with your class

Course venue - Ranton Abbey, Staffordshire

This course is available for individuals to book on this date, or could be booked for a staff team at a convenient time and location for you.  Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

The course tutor, Becky Wilkinson, is a qualified teacher and forest school leader with experience of senior leadership, teacher training and as a teaching and learning advisor.
