Although we are not major woodland owners, the Royal Forestry Society does run three model working woodlands.
- The largest is Hockeridge and Pancake Woods up on the Chilterns between Berkhamsted in Hertfordshire and Chesham in Buckinghamshire.
- In the National Forest at Battram in North West Leicestershire, our new woodland venture is taking place, creating a model multi-purpose working woodland on previously arable land.
- Near Welshpool in mid-Wales is our Charles Ackers Redwood Grove and Naylor Pinetum.
Further details of each are available via the menu on the left, or by following the links in the list above.
