RFS Teaching Trees works with primary schools and landowners, offering educational visits to local woodlands.

Our curriculum linked sessions give children the opportunity to learn about trees, wildlife and forestry in a fun and hands-on way.  Through their experiences they gain an appreciation of woodlands' value for the environment, timber production and enjoyment. Find out more about Teaching Trees here 

We curently have a vacancy for:

Teaching Trees Education Officer, Staffordshire

We are seeking a well-motivated individual to work on a part time, freelance basis, delivering high quality education activities to primary school children, in woodlands ranging from small farm sites to large country estates . The vacancy arises because the current Education Officer is being promoted to a national role. The successful candidate will take on the excellent contacts with local schools and woodland owners built up over the last year, develop and deliver curriculum linked sessions, and support the growth of the programme
