The RFS is inviting applications for a part time post of Development Manager to build on the excellent start to the delivery of our strategy, raise funds to support educational programmes and steward our many donors and supporters.
This is an exciting time for UK forestry and the RFS. In 2015 we launched a significant expansion of our educational activities for primary school children, higher and further education students and novice woodland owners with an objective to raise £1.8m by 2020 in support of these activities. In the first two years we have raised 38% of this target.
Applicants for this role will need to be resourceful, organised, knowledgeable, demonstrate excellent written and oral presentational skills, be comfortable operating at different levels and working as part of a team. This is a senior appointment and the RFS is seeking candidates of the highest calibre.
